Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Evan, the individual operating Coldsnap (“we”, “us”), handles information on this website and in the Coldsnap app. The short version: the website does not track you, and the app keeps your data on your device.

The website

This site runs no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts, and it sets no tracking cookies. Because nothing here tracks you, there is no cookie consent banner to click through.

The waitlist form currently stores nothing. It validates your email in your browser and shows a confirmation, but does not transmit or save the address anywhere. If we later connect an email provider so we can notify you at launch, we will update this policy first and will use any address you submit only to send that notice.

The app

Coldsnap is designed to work without an account. Your logs, plan, and progress are stored locally on your device, with optional synchronizing across your own devices through Apple iCloud under your Apple ID. We do not operate a server that collects your usage history, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

If the app includes purchases, those are handled by Apple through the App Store; we receive transaction confirmations from Apple, not your payment-card details. Any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple are governed by Apple’s privacy terms.

Data we do not collect

We do not build advertising profiles, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not require personal identifiers to use the core features.

Children

Coldsnap concerns nicotine cessation and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age required for the product in their region.

Your choices

Because your app data lives on your device, you control it: you can delete it in the app or by removing the app, and you can manage iCloud sync in your device settings.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date above. Material changes to how we handle data will be described in plain language.
